How do you know she contracted parvo? Did a vet say this? If she was EXPOSED to parvo, then that is the right time range for smtpmoys to show.I helped my daughter nurse her dogs back through parvo (except the one that was caught too late) by having her give them 4-6 Turmeric capsules (she got at walmart), whole cloves, ground in a coffee grinder and put in capsules(2-3), crystallized ginger slices (large slices,2 the cubes, about 6) and echinacea with goldenseal (4) 3 times a day for the ones that were showing smtpmoys, twice a day for those who weren't. She only lost the one, another got sick, but recovered fully and quickly, the other two never showed any signs. The diarrhea will dehydrate them quickly. It is what usually kills them. Get a bulb syringe, fill and give her water every 10 minutes. By doing small but frequent amounts, you make it more likely that she can keep it down. The vets will keep her hydrated and give antibiotics in attempts to keep away secondary infections, but the antibiotics are hard on her system and do nothing for the parvo since it is a virus. But if you feel more comfortable with a vet doing it, then get her in asap. If she already has bloody diarrhea, tomorrow will likely be too late to do anything about. Or you can follow the recipe and bring her into the vet first thing in the morning. Just keep her hydrated! It will require staying up all night long or working in shifts if there is someone else who can help you.Best of luckChristine
